Nancy L. Gross
CPA, MBA, BS in Accounting

Nancy is the founder of Gross and Company.  She began her career as an internal auditor for AK Steel and held subsequent positions in credit and collections, corporate accounting, and the Armco Financial Services Group as an accounting supervisor.  She also taught full-time at Miami University before establishing the firm.

Professionally, she enjoys the challenge of identifying and solving problems, listening to the needs of business people, and managing the firm.

Personally, she is active in the Ohio Society of CPA’s, Rotary International, the National Association of Tax Professionals, Atrium Medical Foundation, and the Middletown Academy of Performing Arts.  As a young person, she was trained as a classical pianist, and now routinely entertains elderly people at the Pristine Living Retirement Community using a keyboard and enjoying the assistance of her husband, Gary, who plays a wind synthesizer.  She also serves as a church musician in five Baptist Churches in Middletown, Ohio.

Nancy’s passion as a CPA and a business owner is to promote small businesses, encourage the small business owners, develop accounting and communication skills, and to promote the firm as a group of talented and ethical professionals.

Gary has a long history as a tax accountant, working for several CPA firms.  In addition to holding a BS in Accounting, he is licensed by the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent.  He keeps abreast of the ever-changing laws and focuses his attention on our firm’s developing role in the tax field and its expanding clientele who require tax help.  He is excellent in the area of tax preparation and enjoys and understands computer technology.

As a professional, Gary is an active member of the Ohio State Society of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Tax Professionals, and is the treasurer of the Middletown Kiwanis Club.

Gary is gregarious, and people are drawn to his happy personality.  He is a musician, a deacon in his church, and a basketball enthusiast, especially for the University of Kentucky.

Donna Tannreuther

Donna Tannreuther
Certified Payroll Professional 

Donna joined our firm in February, 2000, and holds the position of Manager of Payroll Services as a licensed Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).  She has many years of experience in payroll services, sales, office administration, and computer science.  Her most outstanding job qualities are her diligence about resolving technical problems, communicating with people, and being totally trustworthy.

She is also heavily involved in volunteer activities at her church (Maple Heights Baptist) in the areas of teaching, administration, and support of her pastor husband.  Family is a priority for Donna, and she has been blessed with two daughters, a son, and their families.  We always smile when Donna tells us she has her “dream job.”

An outsider looking at Donna knows she loves people and loves God.

Stu Locke

Stu Locke
Public Accountant, BS in Accounting

Stu joined our firm on July 24, 2013 as our Development Director for the B2B Network.  He holds a B.S. in Accounting and an Ohio Public Accountant license. He has a diverse background in software development, banking, accounting, small business ownership, church administration, and athletics. 

Professionally, Stu has recently earned the credential of Certified Associate in Project Management, which he utilizes daily in developing small business relationships to promote business development in our community.

He has also been heavily involved (both past and present) in volunteer activities for the Middletown Rotary Club, Middletown Area Senior Citizens Inc., American Heart Associate, Abilities First Foundations, Butler County ESC, and the Kingdom Community Foundation.  Personally, he enjoys and is committed to his family, his church, and building relationships with friends.

Stu is a skilled communicator who connects with people with a heart to understand their situation.  He also contemplates creative options for business development with confidence that we can make a difference in our community

Alison Walker

Alison Walker
Staff Accountant

Alison joined our firm in March, 2015, and holds the position of Staff Accountant.  He holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.  He has years of experience in tax preparation, accounting services, payroll services, budgeting and small business administration.  His honesty, integrity and professionalism are qualities many people appreciate.

Personal interests include volunteering his services in financial aspects of his church and spending time with family and friends. 

Alison has a passion to serve other people and to increase his professional credentials.  He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Forensic Accounting with a subsequent goal of becoming a CPA.

People who interact with Alison realize quickly that he is a good listener with a sense of humor that is infectious.

Stephanie Blume

Stephanie Blume

Stephanie joined our firm in December, 2012 and holds the position of Administrative Assistant.  She has extensive experience in child care, medical terminology and transcription, and office administration.  At work, she is excellent at communicating with people in a calm manner, is diligent about completing difficult tasks, and loves to see progress at learning new tasks.  Many times, she is the voice you hear on the phone, and the person who greets you in person.

With diligence and hard work, Stephanie has achieved a business goal of becoming a Certified Office Administrator. It is no secret that she is excellent at office organization and in assisting people in a compassionate yet professional way.

Personally, she has dabbled in baking as a small business owner, and is heavily involved in the lives of her children and her church family.

An outsider looking at Stephanie knows she is a trusted friend with a heart to serve.
